Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a seasoned data/engineering professional to design, build, and optimize digital solutions within Payer Operations. You’ll architect end-to-end integration patterns bridging cloud-native SaaS with core clinical systems, ensuring quality, scalability, and governance across data platforms.

You will work with Product and Business teams to refine requirements, apply AI/ML where relevant, and drive reliable data warehousing initiatives.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
Hands-on dimensional data modeling and data warehousing experience.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for cloud and on‑prem data services.
Experience troubleshooting data issues.
Strong communication and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Healthcare domain knowledge (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Architect & Build: design end-to-end integration patterns across cloud-native SaaS and core clinical systems.
Quality & Resilience: conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure reliability.
Stakeholder Leadership: act as a technical consultant to Product and Business leads.
Innovation & AI: explore tools/frameworks and incorporate AI/ML to automate processes.
Documentation & Governance: create architecture diagrams and best practices.
Self Starter: thrive with ambiguity and seek clarity from stakeholders.
