The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) Stabilization and Crisis Unit (SACU) seeks a Health Crisis Technician for a Limited Duration, full-time role in Portland. Responsibilities include direct care in a 24/7 residential home for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, behavioral management, health care, and daily living activities.

You will work with a dedicated team to maintain a therapeutic environment.

Qualifikationen

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required for this position.
• 18 months of experience providing direct care or assistance to individuals or groups with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental and/or physical disabilities, or substance abuse.
• OR CNA2 certification.
• OR An associate degree in a field related to health care delivery.
• OR A combination of education and experience.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct care assistance in a 24-hour, 7 days per week residential medical group home for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD).
• Provide behavioral management, safety, medical/health care, hygiene, nutrition, housekeeping, and other daily activities both within the home and the community.
• Maintain the home and property in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Work individually and collaboratively with other staff members as part of a team within the group home setting to provide and promote a therapeutic environment.
