State of Oregon is seeking a Direct Support Crisis Specialist to join our SACU in the Newberg and Brooks area. This full-time role provides 24-hour residential care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with co-occurring mental health needs, across multiple homes.

You will work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends) and collaborate with a supportive team to promote safety, independence, and meaningful community involvement.

Competenze

• Eighteen months of experience providing direct individual care or training in human services.
• An Associate or higher-level degree in a related human services field.
• A combination of education and experience as defined above.

Mansioni

• Provide direct care in a 24/7 residential group home to individuals with behavioral supports and daily living activities.
• Support individuals while honoring their cultural wishes and maintaining health and safety.
• Assist with community access, education, and recreational activities.
• Document and track care, progress, and activities; answer phones and maintain confidentiality.
• Prepare meals and complete housekeeping tasks; administer medications under supervision.
