Job summary
The Oregon Department of Human Services is seeking a Direct Care Support (Health Crisis Technician) in Portland for a limited duration. The position offers a salary range of $4,308 to $5,453 per month and requires a CNA2 certification and an associate degree, with 18 months of direct care experience.
You will provide 24/7 residential care within the Stabilization and Crisis Unit, addressing health, behavioral, and daily living needs while collaborating with a team across multiple facilities
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- 18 months of direct care or related experience with individuals with IDD or disabilities.
- Certified Nursing Aide (CNA2) certification.
- An associate degree in a health-care related field.
- A combination of education and experience acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care in a 24/7 residential setting for individuals with IDD.
- Assist with health care, hygiene, nutrition, safety, and daily living activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver therapeutic, person-centered care.
