Job summary

Jrfnj is seeking an Enrollment Navigator to provide free, unbiased enrollment assistance for Get Covered New Jersey. You will educate on options, assist with eligibility and enrollment, and engage with uninsured and underserved communities.

Contract runs Sept 1, 2026, to Aug 31, 2027. Office-based with travel for outreach; duties include one-on-one help, explaining insurance concepts, data tracking, and coordinating with partners to connect people with Medicaid/NJ Family Care and Marketplace

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience in customer service, community outreach, healthcare, social services, or public benefits preferred.
Bilingual Spanish, Hindi, Gujarati desirable.
Must successfully complete Get Covered New Jersey Navigator training, certification, and continuing education.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one assistance to consumers applying for health insurance through Get Covered New Jersey.
Provide fair, accurate, impartial, and culturally appropriate information regarding all available health coverage options.
Educate consumers on health insurance concepts including premiums, deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and tax credits.
Assist consumers with completing Marketplace applications, comparing plans, enroll and renew coverage.
Explain health insurance terminology, benefits, and plan comparisons clearly.
Track outreach activities, consumer interactions, enrollments, and performance metrics.
Assist those who qualify for Medicaid/NJ Family Care and transitions between NJ Family Care and Marketplace coverage.
