The School Health Coordinator is responsible for implementing physician-directed health care plans, providing basic first aid, administering medications in accordance with school policy and applicable regulations, maintaining student health records, coordinating faculty and staff health training, and collaborating with students, families, faculty, the school counselor, administrators, and healthcare providers.
As a member of the school community, the School Health Coordinator partners with faculty, families, administrators, and the school counselor to promote student wellness and support students' ability to fully participate in the academic and co-curricular life of the school.
The School Health Coordinator functions within the scope of school health services, emphasizing assessment, triage, coordination, communication, education, and prevention. Students requiring medical diagnosis or ongoing treatment are referred to parents/guardians, emergency personnel, or licensed healthcare providers, as appropriate.

This is a part-time, school-year position working Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. The position requires the ability to move throughout campus during emergencies, assist students with minor mobility needs, lift and carry health and emergency supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, and work indoors and outdoors as needed.
