Job summary

The Raleigh School is seeking a compassionate Health Coordinator to support student health, safety, and well-being within a school-based role emphasizing coordination and triage rather than clinical nursing.

You will implement health care plans, administer medications per policy, maintain health records, train staff, and collaborate with families and healthcare providers to promote student wellness and accelerate their ability to participate fully in school life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited healthcare program relevant to duties.
• Current licensure, certification, or credential in a healthcare field (RN preferred).
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification current or obtainable on hire.
• Experience with children; school health or pediatric care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid and triage for minor illnesses or injuries.
• Administer and manage student medications per policy.
• Maintain confidential health records and health office supplies.
• Coordinate health planning for field trips and emergencies.
• Train faculty and staff on first aid, EpiPen use, allergy and infection prevention.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare providers to support student health.
