Job Details

Pay rate: ***/hour
Location: Remote in NM (Candidates must reside in Albuquerque area for trainings, meetings, or connectivity issues)

Job Responsibilities

1. Contact members to inform and educate them about medical management programs
2. Conduct research and perform data entry
3. Respond to member inquiries
4. Support clinicians in the Medical Management department with provider and member activities

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year of college and 2 years of experience with automated systems OR 3 years of experience with automated systems
• 1 year of experience with managed care systems
• Experience coordinating member needs and analyzing member requirements
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office
• Customer service skills
• Verbal and written communication skills, including developing correspondence and coaching members on medical issues

Preferred Qualifications

• College courses in computer science or the medical field
