Job Summary

Start Date: Monday, June 9th, 2025

Shift: Monday - Friday: Must be open to any shift between 10:30am – 8pm CST. It is required to work every fourth Saturday from 8:00am-4:30pm CST.

Training: Training will be a duration of 6 weeks from 8am – 4:30pm CST. Due to the structured training schedule, new hires are unable to miss any days of training.

Compensation: Hourly Rate: $21.50 or $25 including certification through NBC-HWC or CHES only.

The Health Coach is responsible for improving individual health and wellness of program participants and the overall health status of a client's population. The role involves engaging and supporting members to improve lifestyles and behaviors, reducing risks of chronic or disease conditions, and working under supervision of an Operations Coach Manager.

Essential Job Functions

  • Participating in telephonic calls including engagement, coaching, and chase to inform, enroll, and support members.
  • Coordinating services with a multidisciplinary care team, including nurses, pharmacists, and vendors.
  • Supporting operational aspects to meet customer requirements.
  • Adhering to schedules and caseloads to ensure successful member interaction.
  • Participating in meetings and tracking member progress.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or 2+ years of health coaching experience.
  • 1-2 years of related experience; customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn about lifestyle topics like smoking cessation, nutrition, and exercise.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and adapt to schedule changes.
  • Hard-wired internet connection required.
