Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to join the Provider Network Management team as the internal expert for Health Cloud solutions. This role will replace an external consultant and drive the Salesforce roadmap in-house, aligning with long-term business objectives.

The ideal candidate has Health Cloud, OmniStudio/Vlocity experience, and strong leadership to guide development teams and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform, including Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Demonstrated experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
• Demonstrates working technical knowledge of systems administration
• Knowledge of data migration and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica).
• Demonstrated experience solving server/operating system problems that reduce impact to customers/end‑users
• Active Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator

Responsibilities

• Salesforce Solution Architect background with experience leading solution design and configuration initiatives.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of hands‑on Salesforce Health Cloud experience in a production environment.
• Experience with OmniStudio (formerly Vlocity/Velocity managed package) including solution design, configuration, and implementation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Required Salesforce certifications as outlined in the approved job description.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with both technical and business teams
• Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with Salesforce best practices and standards.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce.
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and technologies.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
• Work with internal and customer stakeholders to create prototypes, proof of concepts and sample mockups as a means of eliciting and defining business requirements
• Validates solution components, leads customer walkthroughs and provides guidance to the product manager for key issues/risks to the project
