Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area seeks a Specialist, Health Claims to support crew health case management, documentation and privacy-compliant communications across brands and ships.

This in-office hybrid role is based in South Florida, with occasional travel and Fridays at home, focusing on data entry, records maintenance, and coordination with providers and case management teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; bachelor’s preferred.
• 1+ years of work experience with similar scope and responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPlatform; familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medical records from ships, providers and crew.
• Update and load documentation related to Seafarer Medicals and return-to-work.
• Coordinate administrative and logistical aspects of crew health cases (transport, lodging, appointments, reimbursement).
• Assist with Sick Wage Benefits administration tasks and data entry in Risk Management systems.
• Support audits and quality improvement initiatives in Seafarer Health processes.
