The Director of Mediation will lead the Mediation Unit within the Health Care Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, mediating complaints and guiding mediation workflows. The role includes collaboration with the Division Chief, data reporting, and policy development.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in health/consumer law or mediation,Strong writing and negotiation skills, and a commitment to public service. The position supports a hybrid work model with some telework days.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years in health law, consumer law, mediation, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in health care is desired but not required.
• Excellent writing, analysis, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage workflows, structure, analyze, and report data.
• Ability to grasp complex legal, business, and financial concepts.
• Ability to collaborate and represent the Office with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage and work with a team.

Aufgaben

• Mediate complaints and help manage the activities of the mediation unit.
• Assist mediators and manage mediation workflows.
• Respond to constituent inquiries and support performance planning for the Mediation Unit.
• Collaborate with the Division Chief on policies, procedures, training materials, templates, and reporting.
• Work with other AGO Divisions and government agencies and participate in community engagement.
