Mercer in the Health & Benefits team is seeking a Health & Benefits Consultant, Project Manager based in Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland or Pittsburgh. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week.

The role involves managing engagements for 2,000+ life employers, negotiating with carriers, and serving as client and Mercer relationship manager. The base salary range is $88,000 to $176,000, with performance incentives in a flexible rewards program.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of health & benefits consulting experience.
• Client-facing consulting experience.
• Renowned expertise in health & benefits field.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex client engagements including service delivery, strategy and renewals.
• Develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies.
• Manage client relationships and revenue/profitability.
• Communicate industry trends to clients.
• Lead new business opportunities with sales channel partners.
• Drive AI and technology-enabled solutions.
