Job summary

HDR seeks a Health Principal to guide the Health sector in the local region and join the industry’s leading healthcare team. The role focuses on growing the health architecture practice, winning new business, and leading health projects with a strong emphasis on sustainability and resilient design.

The candidate will collaborate with regional leaders, manage client relationships, and mentor the health practice team while representing HDR in professional organizations and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and 15+ years related experience.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience and a track record leading large-scale health projects.
• Registered Architect with strong leadership, mentoring and client-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel and contribute to an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate work across single or multidisciplinary teams through the project lifecycle.
• Lead client presentations, marketing, and pursuit activities to win work.
• Develop and manage relationships with health organizations and institutions.
• Oversee regional health projects and contribute to sector leadership.
