Job summary

HDR is seeking a Health Principal in Charlotte to guide the health sector strategy in the local region and lead large health projects. The role focuses on growing the health architecture practice, winning new business relationships, and overseeing project delivery as part of the local leadership team, with emphasis on client relationships and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and 15 years related experience.
• Minimum 7 years project management experience and proven leadership of teams on large-scale projects.
• Licensed/Registered Architect with ability to lead client presentations.
• Experience in local and regional health market and sustainable design knowledge.
• Willingness to travel and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow health architecture practice in local and regional market.
• Lead business development and marketing efforts with regional health leadership.
• Manage and develop local health sector team.
• Build and maintain client relationships as primary client relationship manager.
• Direct and coordinate multi-discipline project teams through lifecycle.
• Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and QA/QC standards.
