Regional Safety Manager – Manufacturing & Distribution

Salary: Up to £120K | Location: Within 1hr of Landover

The Role

You’ll be the Regional Safety Manager across five sites – one production site (the main focus) and four distribution centers. Your responsibilities include:

• Building, implementing, and maintaining safety programs from scratch.
• Owning lockout/tagout, emergency response, wastewater, and waste management.
• Getting buy-in from frontline staff to senior leadership – safety should be embraced, not enforced.
• Being on-call 24/7 for emergencies.
• Training, communicating, and influencing safety culture without sounding like a manual.
• Collaborating with the EHS Director to ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulations.

Ideal Candidate

This isn’t for someone who wants to enforce rules from afar. You need to be proactive, hands-on, and good with people.

• 5+ years in EHS – perhaps you’re an HSE Advisor ready to step up.
• You see EHS as a support function, not just policing.
• Comfortable speaking to groups, influencing at all levels, and embedding safety into the culture.
• Willing to travel up to 50% and work across multiple sites.
