Job summary

American Leadership Academy in the West Valley is accepting applications for Health Aide Substitutes across our K-12 campuses. Preferably a CMA, EMT, CNA, or RN credential.

Responsibilities include basic first aid, administering meds, immunization record review, hearing/vision screening, and acting as a liaison among teachers, parents, students and administrators.

Job description

Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.

American Leadership Academy is currently accepting applications for Health Aide Substitutes for our K-12 campuses in the West Valley. Preferably a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA), or Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides basic first aid and general care to students.
• Administers daily prescription and over the counter medications to students and maintains accurate records of medication given.
• Reviews student immunization records to ensure state compliance.
• Assists with hearing and vision screening.
• Acts as liaison between teachers, parents, students and administrators.
