Job summary

American Leadership Academy in the West Valley is accepting applications for Health Aide Substitutes across our K-12 campuses. Preferably a CMA, EMT, CNA, or RN.

Responsibilities include providing basic first aid, administering medications with records, reviewing immunization records, assisting with hearing and vision screening, and acting as a liaison between teachers, parents, students and administrators.

Qualifications

• Preference CMA/EMT/CNA/RN certification.
• Ability to provide basic first aid and monitor student health.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with families and staff.

American Leadership Academy is currently accepting applications for Health Aide Substitutes for our K-12 campuses in the West Valley. Preferably a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA), or Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides basic first aid and general care to students.
• Administers daily prescription and over the counter medications to students and maintains accurate records of medication given.
• Reviews student immunization records to ensure state compliance.
• Assists with hearing and vision screening.
• Acts as liaison between teachers, parents, students and administrators.
