Job summary

APLA Health seeks a Health Operations Analyst & Access Manager in Los Angeles to optimize clinical operations with a focus on patient access, empanelment, data integrity, and workflow efficiency. You will supervise the Data Entry Specialist, ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance in data collection and reporting.

The role requires analyzing patient panels, developing monthly reports, and collaborating with clinical leadership to improve care coordination and population health metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance or Business or similar major.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations, data analysis, or population health management.
• Experience supervising staff or managing a small team.
• Experience with empanelment, patient attribution, or panel management strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, electronic health records and data reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to patient access, appointment utilization, provider productivity, and quality metrics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports to support leadership and clinical teams.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to enhance patient experience and outcomes.
• Lead empanelment processes and maintain accurate provider panels.
