Job summary

Responsibilities

• Calculate knife sheets and lays-out spacer and rubbers.
• Check knives for knicks and sharpness. Change knife blades when necessary. Check knife performance during operations to assure clean cuts.
• Builds, removes, replaces, and deconstructs cutter stands according to workorder specifications/knife sheets. Checks clearances on cutter stands.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean work environment by keeping work area free of trash and scrap.

Performs a variety of duties to set-up slitting machines to cut product to proper width according to workorder/customer specifications.
