Job summary

Coilplus, Inc. in Springfield, OH is seeking a Material Handler to load and prepare coils for slitting and leveling operations. You will assist machine operators, thread materials, and monitor flow to prevent jams while keeping the work area clean and safe.

The role requires basic reading/writing in English, ability to read measurements, basic math, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Prior metals experience is preferred and equal opportunity employment is offered.

• Assists the operator in starting the machine. Observes flow of material to detect irregular slitting or leveling.
• Maintain a clean work environment by keeping work area free of trash and scrap.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Ensures coils are loaded properly to keep the slitter and/or CTL lines running efficiently and effectively to meet the company’s production goals.
