Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience operating cold forming equipment or similar machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret part prints and layout documents.
• Proficient in measuring parts to required tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cold former (header) to manufacture parts to precise specifications.
• Measure and inspect parts during production using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments.
• Load material, draw material down to size, adjust tooling, verify machine settings based on production orders.
• Monitor machine operation; troubleshoot malfunctions and perform minor maintenance.
• Read tool layouts and part progression layouts; document quality data and production records.
