Job summary

Monogram Aerospace Fasteners in Commerce, CA is seeking a Cold/Hot Header Operator for the 2nd shift. You will completely set up and operate header machines to form, cut and pierce metal parts to tight tolerances per blueprints.

The role requires the ability to read blueprints, adjust tooling, document production data, and work safely in a machine shop. A minimum of four years’ experience with Cold/Hot header operations and journeyman training are expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read and write English as required by shop documents.
• Generally equivalent to journeyman trade school graduate in set-up and operation of Cold/Hot heading machines.
• Minimum four years’ experience in set-up and operation of Cold/Hot Header machines.

Responsibilities

• Completely and independently sets up and operates Cold/Hot header machines.
• Adjusts diameters, grip lengths and depths to tolerances; uses calipers and micrometers for precision.
• Reads blueprints to plan sequences and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintains production logs and adheres to safety and quality procedures.
• Trains other cell members in header setup and operation as needed.
