Job summary

Hotwire Communications Ltd in South Carolina is seeking a telecommunications engineer to focus on implementing new technologies and maintaining structured wiring systems. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in Engineering or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Responsibilities include monitoring and supporting Headend infrastructure, analyzing data for issues, and ensuring Audio/Video quality. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related telecommunication industry or RF/satellite experience required.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN principles.
• Working knowledge of principles in Ethernet, fiber and coax wiring.

Responsibilities

• Work with the engineering department on the implementation of new technologies or services.
• Design, build and maintain all structured wiring for efficient data flow.
• Monitor IPTV services and linear channels for Audio/Video quality.

Skills

Strong Head-End knowledge

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio

Excellent Audio/Visual observation skills

Education

Associate’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunication, RF or satellite certifications
