We are currently seeking a HEAD TEACHER,SEVERE DISABILITIES, ALL LEVELS, for our program in Walpole, MA.Annual salary range is $69,500 to $80,000 depending on degree, license, and certification status. Candidates with required teaching certification at the time of offer will be eligible for a $5,000 signing bonus to be paid out within 6 months of hire . League School will help obtain required licensure for qualified candidates.
The program educates students with autism and related social communication challenges. The curriculum is based on the MA Curriculum Frameworks/Common Core Standards and modified to meet student needs. All classrooms are designed around student age, grade level and social communication needs, and are no larger than 8 students per classroom.

Employees are required to intervene with student behavior according to the guidelines of Safety Care. These interventions may involve blocking aggressions and restraining students. These physical management procedures may require the employee to move from standing to kneeling, kneeling to standing, and to use both of their arms to restrict movement.
