League School for Autism in Walpole, MA is seeking a Teacher Assistant for our year-round program. Starting pay is $22.50–$26.40 per hour, with schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., depending on experience and education.
The role supports students with autism, implements individualized plans, assists with supervision and transport, and collaborates with the Vocational Coordinator and Education team to promote growth and safety.

The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, run, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Employees are required to intervene with student behavior according to the guidelines of Safety Care. These interventions may involve blocking aggressions and restraining students. These physical management procedures may require the employee to move from standing to kneeling, kneeling to standing, and to use both of their arms to restrict movement.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
