Job summary

Vivvi, Inc. is seeking a Head Teacher for our brand new 24-hour child care center on Toyota’s campus in Liberty, NC. You will ensure the well-being and development of the children, design thematic units, and lead inquiry-based activities aligned with developmental milestones.

You’ll collaborate with families and staff, communicate progress to parents, and uphold robust health and safety protocols. This role offers growth and development opportunities within a mission-driven early learning

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care center
• 2+ years as Head Teacher or similar role with ability to create original lesson plans, lead parent-teacher conferences, and liaise with families about child development

Responsibilities

• Ensure the well-being and development of the children in your classroom
• Dream up rich, thematic units that foster children’s curiosity and help them achieve key individual and age-appropriate milestones
• Lead planning and implementation of inquiry-based activities and curriculum tailored towards children’s developmental growth
• Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
• Proactively communicate with parents regarding their children’s development and growth
• Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocol
