Vivvi Early Learning in Liberty, NC seeks a Head Teacher to oversee child well-being and development and to design inquiry-based curricula. You will lead planning, implement engaging activities, and interact with families to discuss growth and milestones.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in ECE or Child Development with 2+ years in licensed childcare and demonstrated leadership in a head-teacher role. Independent US work authorization is required.

About The Role

As a Head Teacher, you'll:

• Ensure the well-being and development of the children in your classroom
• Dream up rich, thematic units that foster children’s curiosity and help them achieve key individual and age-appropriate milestones
• Lead planning and implementation of inquiry-based activities and curriculum tailored towards children’s developmental growth
• Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
• Proactively communicate with parents regarding their children’s development and growth
• Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocol

• Have 2+ years of experience working in a licensed child care center capacity Have 2+ years of experience as a Head Teacher or in a similar role within a licensed child care center, including expertise in creating original lesson plans, leading parent-teacher conferences, and effectively liaising with families about children’s development and milestones.
• Hold a Bachelors Degree in ECE or Child Development
• Value and create strong relationships with families, children, and faculty
• Possess excellent leadership skills including the ability to define goals and motivate staff towards success
