Job summary

Bethesda Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic Head Swim Coach to lead and grow our swim program. You will oversee learn-to-swim instruction through our summer competitive team, inspiring athletes to perform their best and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture.

The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with proven coaching experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety, program quality, and developing swimmers of all ages and abilities at BCC.

Qualifications

• Competitive swimming/coaching experience required.
• Current Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
• Strong knowledge of stroke technique, starts, finishes, and rules.
• Experience as a competitive swimmer.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate with swimmers and parents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day swim program management and success.
• Develop and manage swim team schedules and lead practices.
• Attend and lead practices and meets; maintain records and results.
• Pay attention to safety, program quality, and compliance.
• Coordinate meets and communicate with families and staff.
