The University of Minnesota, Duluth (UMD) Athletics seeks a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach to develop and maintain a competitive Division II program in line with department and university philosophy, and in compliance with NCAA, conference and safety rules.

Responsibilities include designing and administering strength, conditioning, speed development and agility programs; ensuring safe instruction; managing budget and equipment; and collaborating with all head coaches to support

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate both written and verbally.
• Demonstrated commitment to student-athlete well-being and building an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer strength, stretching, agility/plyometric, speed development and conditioning exercises and programming.
• Provide instruction in a safe and effective manner.
• Manage inventory, infrastructure and the department's budget.
