Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a seasoned sourcing and procurement leader to drive end-to-end Source-to-Pay initiatives. You will manage a high-performing team, develop strategic sourcing plans, and partner with Finance, Operations, and Legal to deliver cost-effective, compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes data analytics, executive dashboards, and cross-functional collaboration. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in strategic sourcing, ERP experience (Oracle preferred), and a proven track record

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, accounting, data analytics, mathematics, or similar.
Five years of professional experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or Source-to-Pay across multiple complex categories.
Proven leadership experience delivering strategic sourcing and procurement outcomes.
Experience with enterprise procurement and ERP technology, such as Oracle.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of sourcing and procurement professionals to deliver category strategies.
Develop long- and short-term sourcing strategies aligned with corporate goals.
Maintain end-to-end understanding of Source-to-Pay lifecycle across multiple processes.
Create executive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting translating data into insights.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define metrics and value indicators.
Drive cost savings, risk reduction, and process improvements across spend.
Lead large-scale sourcing events and negotiate complex contracts.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance frameworks.
