Job summary

FedEx seeks a strategic consultant to drive business initiatives across multiple domains. You will partner with executive leadership, translate ideas into execution, and push for out-of-the-box opportunities that deliver measurable P&L value.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create rigor, visibility, and impact, aligning programs with strategic goals while managing risk and ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of experience in business operations, transportation, logistics, or related fields, with leadership experience.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
• Strong human relations and communications skills.
• Understanding of business management and operational supply chain management.
• Strong executive presence and experience working with leadership.
• Previous experience at a business strategy consulting firm is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategically oversee and execute large-scale, high-impact programs aligned with business objectives.
• Identify and mitigate challenges, escalating risks while driving solutions.
• Plan and own program strategies with clear goals, objectives and success metrics.
• Assess initiatives to ensure value delivery with appropriate strategic and financial oversight.
• Establish standards for program management and operating models.
• Develop data-driven reports and presentations for leadership visibility into progress, risks and successes.
• Engage senior leaders to drive alignment across business functions.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
