Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics or other quantitative discipline.
• Minimum four (4) years work experience in sourcing or related field.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Superior demonstrated skills with current technology tools/advances, and database/analytical tools.
• Proven interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Proven negotiating skills and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Leads the development and execution of enterprise-wide category management strategies.
• Develops and manages sourcing strategies for complex categories using FedEx methodology.
• Evaluates category/spend information, benchmarks, and recommends sourcing strategy and supplier scorecard criteria.
• Builds category expertise and market contacts with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Leads complex internal projects and negotiations with senior-level authority.
