Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Pittsburgh seeks a senior sourcing leader to develop and execute enterprise-category strategies, drive supplier relationships, and manage high-impact negotiations. You will collaborate with executives and internal stakeholders to shape sourcing programs, risk management, and diversity initiatives.

The role requires a strong track record in PM, data-driven decision making, and deep category expertise across transportation or related services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics or another quantitative field.
Minimum four (4) years of work experience in sourcing or related field; advanced degree may offset.
Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data tools and analysis.
Proven interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; strong negotiating and PM abilities.

Responsibilities

Leads development and execution of enterprise-wide category management strategies.
Develops sourcing strategies for complex categories using FedEx methodology.
Evaluates category spend, benchmarks, and supplier scorecard criteria.
Builds category expertise and market contacts with suppliers and stakeholders.
Leads negotiations and complex internal projects with executive exposure.
Interacts with executives and acts with senior-level authority with suppliers, finance and legal.
