Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Properly load and unload the dishwashing machine
• Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bar
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Delime washing machine and handle chemicals, while being HACCP compliant
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
• Transfer or move equipment throughout the kitchen
• Use sanitizer test strips and monitor the temperature of all washing liquids
• Sweep and scrub floors
• Occasionally clean and prepare various foods for cooking and serving
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures with all guidelines from OSHA, Department of Public Health, and Risk Management

Requirements

• Previous experience in a high-volume full-service kitchen is required
• Food Handler certification
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Knowledge of using dishwashing equipment
• The determination to work safely
• Must pass screening and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
