Job summary

The Maryland Rural Development Corporation (MRDC) is seeking a Head Start Teacher to implement developmentally appropriate curricula for preschoolers and collaborate with the Site Supervisor and MRDC team. The teacher will support children ages 3-5, maintain portfolios, and participate in ongoing professional development in a collaborative center setting.

Responsibilities

• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool children per guidance from leaders.
• Refer children with special needs to appropriate staff and implement IEPs.
• Maintain a comprehensive portfolio with weekly observations and student work.
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
