Job summary

The role requires progressive education credentials from CDA to Master’s in Early Childhood Education, plus a background check and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Level I: CDA credential or state-certified preschool teacher credential.
• Level II: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with preschool teaching experience.
• Level III: BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or related field with preschool teaching experience.
• Level IV: Master’s in Early Childhood Education plus 36 credits beyond undergrad.

Responsibilities

• Instruct preschool children and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities.
• Develop weekly lesson plans and ensure program compliance.
• Supervise staff and assign duties to maintain a high-quality learning environment.
• Maintain classroom logs, reports, and safety checks.
• Conduct health screenings and family conferences.
• Prepare classrooms and inspect play areas for safety.
