NACOG in Arizona is seeking a preschool teacher to guide development for Head Start children. You will implement developmentally appropriate activities, plan weekly lessons, and foster strong relationships with families to support learning and growth.

The role requires handling health screenings, classroom safety, and collaborative planning with staff to meet program standards. A CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education is expected, with progressive degrees as Level II–IV described.

Qualifikationen

• Level I: CDA or state certificate meeting CDA requirement.
• Level II: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with experience.
• Level III: BA/BS in ECE or related field with teaching experience.
• Level IV: Master’s in ECE with 36 additional credits beyond undergrad.

Aufgaben

• Instruct children with developmentally appropriate activities to promote growth.
• Develop and maintain relationships with children and families.
• Develop and implement weekly lesson plans for program compliance.
• Assign duties to staff and monitor performance.
• Complete logs and reports to document compliance.
• Prepare classrooms and conduct health screenings for Head Start children.
• Plan and conduct parent-teacher conferences to assess progress.
