Job summary

United Counseling Service of Bennington County Inc in Pownal, Vermont, is seeking a Teacher Site Coordinator for Head Start programs. You will develop and implement curriculum, communicate with families, staff, and consultants, and oversee daily site operations.

Under the Education Manager, you’ll ensure Head Start standards, conduct observations, lead classroom supervision, and collaborate with specialists to deliver comprehensive early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Vermont AOE Teacher License preferred.
• Experience teaching preschool children is expected.

• Communicates effectively with children, families, staff and consultants.
• Oversees daily operations of the Head Start site and maintains records.
