Job summary

United Counseling Service of Bennington County Inc in Bennington, Vermont, is seeking a Co-Teacher to support infants and toddlers in Early Head Start. The role emphasizes direct supervision, curriculum implementation, family engagement, and collaboration with a dynamic team.

The successful candidate will hold an Infant Toddler CDA or higher, or obtain CDA within 6 months, and will participate in ongoing training, parent conferences, and records keeping.

Qualifications

• Infant Toddler CDA required or obtain CDA within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for a group of 8 infants and toddlers in Early Head Start.
• Deliver comprehensive Early Head Start services and curriculum with fidelity.
• Plan lessons and assess developmental progress for children.
• Conduct two parent conferences and two home visits annually.
• Supervise and train assistant and intern staff.
