Job summary

Durango 4C Council/Tri-County Head Start is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Pagosa Springs Head Start center. The role supports overall center operations, assists with enrollment, documentation, and coordination with staff and central offices.

It also serves as backup Center Director when needed. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, approachable, and capable of juggling multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Colorado Large Child Care Center Director qualification required or willing to obtain.
• Family Services Credential required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support enrollment and family services activities.
• Maintain required center records and documentation.
• Track health and other compliance-related information.
• Help families connect with community resources.
• Provide clerical and general office support.
• Coordinate with classroom staff, the Center Director, and Central Office departments.
• Help ensure center documentation meets Head Start and licensing requirements.
• Serve as backup Center Director when the Center Director is unavailable.
