Job summary

All Kids Academy Head Start, Inc. is seeking a Head Start Teacher to create a nurturing, developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports school readiness for preschool children.

You will collaborate with families and staff to foster growth and tailor activities to each child’s needs, while ensuring compliance with Head Start standards and inclusive practices. The role emphasizes building strong routines, conducting assessments, and implementing individualized plans to promote

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in child development, early childhood education, or related field.
• 12 semester units of ECE/Child Development with 3 units of supervised field experience.
• CTC Associate Teacher Permit or higher or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing learning environment.
• Support social, intellectual and emotional development of children.
• Implement developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum.
• Collaborate with families and staff to support each child’s progress.
• Plan and coordinate activities with the teacher assistant and other staff.
• Ensure IEPs are implemented and children with disabilities are included.

Education

Associate degree or higher in child development, early childhood education, or related field
