Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a Partnership Specialist to build relationships with partner family service assistants and ensure Head Start deliverables are met across 0-5 programs.

The role emphasizes monitoring services, ERSEA, Parent Engagement, Health and Nutrition, with routine site visits and data entry support for Child Plus. Employment is through Early Childhood Development Co., LLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, or related field with case management and family engagement experience.
• Strong teamwork, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Proficient basic technology skills.
• Preferred: Experience in Child Plus and Head Start.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Partner FSA to support school readiness plans and family wellbeing for the 0-5 Head Start programs.
• Monitor ERSEA, Parent Family & Community Engagement, Mental Health & Disabilities, Health, and Nutrition; monitor service delivery at all partnership sites.
• Conduct Child Plus monitoring and generate weekly partnership reports.
• Follow up on compliance concerns and review partner corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with content service areas to provide training and TA to partnership staff ensuring compliance with Head Start standards.
• Monitor health service area and ensure health documents are stored and all mandates are met.
• Conduct routine site visits to perform Health & Safety checks at partnership sites.
• Provide data entry support by entering applications and uploading documents to Child Plus for partner sites as needed.
• Establish and maintain a good rapport with Partners to ensure a great working environment.
• Participate in agency-wide activities such as Community Assessments, Self-Assessments, Strategic Planning, trainings, and professional development.
• Collaborate annually with the Partnership Director to review and update partnership policy and procedures.
