Responsibilities

• Lead weekly team meetings and develop lesson plans addressing individual goals.
• Provide day-to-day supervision for staff, substitutes, and volunteers.
• Review curriculum with leadership to improve instructional practice.
• Implement Head Start, DC regulations, and NAEYC standards in daily operations.
• Apply High Scope curriculum with fidelity per policies.
• Plan daily activities based on child development principles.
• Document child progress and conduct COR observations per schedule.
• Maintain confidentiality of children and families.
