Job summary

YMCA Greene County Early Learning Center in Greensboro, GA, is hiring an Early Head Start Teacher. This full-time role focuses on safety and high-quality early childhood experiences for children from six weeks to three years old, under the supervision of the Program Director.

The candidate should hold an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, with preferred Bachelor’s, and be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• PDS documentation and transcripts.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop classroom associates and manage day-to-day operations.
• Plan and implement learning experiences advancing intellectual and physical development.
• Involve families and support relationships between children and families.
• Use developmentally appropriate practices inclusive of children with disabilities.
• Meet regulatory compliance, licensure, and assessment requirements.
• Record attendance, meal counts, and prepare reports as required.
• Create organized, safe, interactive learning environments indoors and outdoors.
• Conduct home visits and parent conferences with positive, developmental information.
