Job summary

Chester County Intermediate Unit is seeking an Early Childhood Health Coordinator to support the Head Start programs. This role focuses on overseeing and implementing health services, including medical, dental, screening, and nutrition services, for early childhood programs.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Public Health, relevant experience, and certifications in CPR and First Aid. Responsibilities include planning health services and collaborating with staff to ensure child health and safety across Chester County.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Medical Assistant.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications are required.
• Must possess police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint clearances within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health services for Head Start and Early Childhood programs.
• Assist families in linking to health systems.
• Conduct health screenings and provide health education.
