Job summary

Luzerne County Head Start is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee planning, coordination, and evaluation of health, dental, developmental, and wellness services for children and families enrolled in our Preschool Head Start and PreK Counts programs.

The role ensures timely, high-quality services, compliance with program standards, and collaboration with staff, healthcare providers, and community partners to support children's development and school readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating health, dental, developmental, and wellness services preferred.
• Knowledge of Head Start performance standards and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination and evaluation of comprehensive health, dental, developmental, and wellness services for children and families enrolled in Preschool Head Start and PreK Counts.
• Promote prevention, early identification, health education, family engagement, safety, and development-supportive services.
