Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of the South, Inc. dba Upbring in Granbury, TX is seeking a Family Engagement Advocate to partner with families and communities served by Head Start.

You will coordinate services across Social Services, Health, Nutrition, Mental Health, and Parent Engagement to promote healthy, stable families. The role emphasizes home visits, referrals, crisis assistance, and collaboration with staff and community partners to ensure enrollment, ERSEA compliance, and data accuracy in PIR

Qualifications

• An associate's degree in Social Services or related field.
• Ability and willingness to obtain FDC within 12 months of hire.
• One year Head Start experience or equivalent services to families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services and activities with families to foster strength and well-being.
• Provide referrals to community resources and assist families in crisis.
• Support enrollment processes and ERSEA-related tasks.
• Collaborate with staff and partners to engage families and children.
• Maintain PIR data accuracy in the data system.
