Job summary

The Child Center of NY is seeking a Family Service Manager to oversee ERSEA and Health practices, coordinate family services, promote family wellness, and build partnerships with community programs. The role acts as a liaison among programs, classrooms, and home settings in family engagement, child development, and mental health services.

You will supervise family service staff, develop reporting systems, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field required with 5 years' experience in Human Services or psychology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and data reporting.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting diverse families, including Spanish or Bengali speakers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, Attendance) and Health practices.
• Coordinate family services and promote family wellness.
• Build community partnerships and liaison between programs, classrooms and homes.
• Supervise family service staff and develop reporting systems for management.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start standards and local/state/federal guidelines.
• Engage parents to encourage active program involvement and crisis intervention.
• Participate in planning, implementation and evaluation of the program.
