Save the Children US is seeking a Manager of Facilities and Transportation to ensure safe, compliant facilities and vehicles supporting Head Start/Early Head Start programs across sites in the United States. You will lead maintenance, leases, licensing, and the transportation program, coordinating with site supervisors and outside contractors.

The role requires strong knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and on-call readiness, with emphasis on safeguarding children and managing

Qualificações

• Knowledge of Davis-Bacon documentation requirements.
• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, plus at least two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general building maintenance, facilities management, or transportation systems.
• Proven experience in a position relating to the provision and management of facilities maintenance and transportation services.
• Demonstrated successful supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee testing for lead, asbestos, mold, and air quality.
• Develop, implement and evaluate systems for the delivery of facility and transportation services.
• Ensure and maintain fire alarm and security alarm systems are in good working order.
• Conduct regular health and safety inspections of sites and promptly resolve issues.
• Oversee building security and maintenance schedules and contracts.
